3/14/2023 0 Comments Net radar mrcd![]() ![]() I am very satisfied! Beltronics is simply the absolute best on the market! ![]() In all, a remarkable performance from what we christen the expert driver's tool of choice for combatting radar, lasers and red light cameras." On daily commutes it rarely goes off and is nearly as quiet on highway trips. "On the road, the BEL STiR Plus is almost supernaturally quiet. "The Beltronics Pro RX65 offers a nice set of programmable features and its tested performance ranks with the best." This disables the J-out feature but with custom sweeps only scanning certain portions of the Ka band it filters out most Ka falses that way."We would rate the Beltronics STiR Plus the best remote mounted radar detector available today" If you start using custom sweeps/Euro mode/Ka Guard off you will see a big improvement in range. As others have said take a look at rdforum. It is nearly impossible to lockout a real signal.Īlso, if you're still able to see "J-outs" (J on the screen) that means you aren't using your V1 to it's full potential. It simply doesn't mute all K band in the area. If you're using YaV1 for GPS lockouts it takes in account direction and frequency for lockouts. Of course effectiveness will vary by location, but a V1 without GPS is nearly unusable for me if you leave K band on. Over all though, it does very little for stationary falses. Junk K fighter is geared toward BSMs but may help all around. This is to filter out Ka falses from crap radar detectors. When J flashes on the screen it means its "junked out" the signal. You are free to get another alternative laser jammer but you will regret it plus LEARN HOW TO USE THEM. If I were you and in search for a radar detector I would visit and get educated on them before making a purchase based off store reviews.įor laser jammers, nothing out there matches the ALPs and they can jam ANY gun out there even VPRs. That's a broad overview of what it is out there and my opinion. Also, if you like to keep your radar and laser jammer systems separate then I would personally good with ALP and the Radenso RC (if you decide to get remote radar detectors).įorgot to add that both, the Net Radar, Net Radar Digital, and the Radenso RC can have with arrows by adding a second antenna to the back. They are coming up soon with a new digital version that will have the Uniden R3 (same digital platform in essence) range and even better k band filtering so I would personally wait for that and until we can compare it with the new Radenso RC (Radenso's remote radar detector). really decent range and k band filtering. It is a remote unit based off the Uniden DFR7 platform. Then we have ALP, the only laser jammer I would consider, that makes a remote unit that pairs with the laser jammer system (you need the laser jammers to run this unit). The major letdowns are that they don't have arrows nor Bluetooth and they are always sold out. Has the best range (multiple objective tests prove that in multiple courses and terrains/conditions), paired with a bunch of bells and whistles and outstanding K band filtering. Uniden currently has the "best" radar detector out there, at least in paper. Uniden has their DFR series of which I would only go with the 7 or 6 if you are in a tight budget (which I doubt most of us Mustang owners are, and I am talking about $100 or less budgets). It offers relatively good performance and better k band filtering. They also have the windshield unit that detects MRCD (not in use in the US). ![]() Radenso is coming out with the new remote radar detector (RC) that will blow all the other ones out of the water in terms of range (it seems like). There is the new Redline EX that has worse range but more bells and whistles and a K band you can actually stand but at a price point that is high for what you get. unless all you see is Ka band and can only ran ka band on, I would personally stay away from it. ![]() I used to own an Escort Redline and sold it for a couple reasons. The issue with the V1 is that to make it fully functional you need to program it and tweak it with the app so for many people that's just not an option nor they have the time or willingness to go through that but highly useful with all the info you can get and learn. I would never run a V1 without the YaV1 (for Android) or the iOs app though. Looks old but it is a solid performer and has arrows and lots of add ons (bluetooth module, Savvy, concealed display.). If you don't need the range and don't care about money, and want everything done for you so you don't have to even touch a menu button, you could go with any of their products. Overpriced and low performance but tons of bells and whistles which are kinda useless if they cannot detect Instant on radar or their range is crappy in difficult terrain. I would, personally, stay away from pretty much any Escort product. I would check on for tests and unbiased opinions and reviews. ![]()
